  • RECOVERY TAKES TIME

Post-op, you will need to take an off from work and various other normal activities. There are plenty of precautions that you will be required to take including keeping your head elevated with pillows while sleeping, and avoiding any strenuous activities. You can experience excessive swelling and bruising, which should normally reduce within a week or two.

  • DISCOMFORT ALERT

Experiencing some pain and discomfort after getting a rhinoplasty done is normal. Chances are that you will feel discomfort for up to a week or more after your nose job. However, most of the pain can be regulated through pain killers that the surgeons usually prescribe after getting a surgery done. The discomfort caused due to nasal congestion would last for a greater while, though.

  • SWELLING

  • PROTECT YOUR NOSE

After getting your rhinoplasty done, you will have to avoid doing strenuous activities for at least a week or two. Refrain yourself from lifting any heavy weights or making your head droop down. You should also take special care of your nose while you’re in bed, sleeping. You will have to sleep alone to avoid your nose getting bumped by your bed partner.
